I facilitated cardiac and pulmonary groups for decades. It was wonderful to work with people with tremendous health challenges. Teaching patients how to care for their minds and bodies was a privilege. We became family together. I also worked with people, patients, and families for many years to help them transition in the last months of their precious lives.
